Sofie to Korea

Yesterday was my last meeting with my LP before she goes back to Seoul. We spent two hours talking and agreed to meet up when I go back to Seoul in December. As a thank you gift for her excellent help with my Korean studies I had bought her a cute bracelet with daisies. In return she gave me this little “spaghetti fork” gadget that controls the mouse cord on my desk. She told me that she had bought it in Hongdae before coming here with the intention to give it to someone special. Needless to say I was very honored by the sweet gesture. It’s always hard parting with a good language partner and I will probably not meet with another one before the fall term begins. In the meantime I’ve signed up for a Skype lesson on italki to keep practicing my conversation skills. Once I’ve tried how it works I’ll write a post about it.
