A few weeks ago I recorded an interview in Korean with Jonson from Spongemind. For those of you who don’t know Spongemind, it’s a bilingual Korean/English youtube channel and podcast about language learning. Jonson’s partner Jeremy also operates the awesome channel MotivateKorean, which many of you may already know very well. In fact, Jeremy was the very first one to do an interview with me last summer.

In any case, I’d love to share the interview with you here. It’s quite lengthy and has therefore been broken down into two parts. It’s entirely in Korean so for the Korean learners out there, I hope you’ll enjoy this video as a tool for Korean listening practice and getting to know a bit more about me and my language learning journey. For those of you who do not speak Korean, we may add subtitles/captions to the video a little down the road.

To tell you what you may look forward to in the interview, it features me answering questions about the six languages I speak, how I have learned them and what advice I want to pass on to other language learners being a polyglot myself.

I really hope that you’ll enjoy watching the interview as much as I enjoyed recording it!

  1. I really enjoy these, unfortunately my Korean is not good enough to understand everything. Here’s hoping that subtitles are added at some point! 🙂
